Check in at the Real NZ office at 10.45am for the TSS Earnslaw cruise. Enjoy a leisurely 90-minute scenic cruise on the century old, coal fired vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw from Queenstown waterfront to Walter Peak High Country Farm (staying onboard) and return. Watch from the viewing platform the stokers shovel coal, check out the mini museum or make use of the onboard café with a hot drink or snack.
After disembarking the TSS Earnslaw back in Queenstown there is time for lunch before meeting your friendly wine guide outside The Station Building at 1.15pm.
Enjoy tastings at three unique cellar doors including a guided tour and wine tasting inside New Zealand’s largest wine cave*. Delight in a scrumptious antipasto board accompanying the final tasting of the day.
Your passionate and enthusiastic wine guide will provide a full running commentary; learn about this pioneering wine region and its evolution from just a couple of vines into a world-renowned Pinot Noir producer.
